Our Classroom

A friend of mine asked me for pictures of our classroom to share. I was happy to oblige- I really enjoy having a place to keep all of our school stuff-- and it's where the kids and I spend most of our time- even our free time- as there is so much to do. Looking at these pictures (which were taken when it was first completed in February 2007), though, made me wish our classroom looked like this today, LOL!! Of course, we're homeschooling grades Kindergarten through sixth, now. We have since added a pair of birds and a snake. The Science Lab has been turned into more of an observation lab for critters we find out and about, and we've added yet another small bookcase (we could use another big one, too, but there just is NOT room)... it's really crowded in here now... I know over the next year or so, I can start getting rid of more of the preschool/kindergarten type stuff, and that will give us more space. But it also kind of makes me sad to know I'll never have these years again. I guess that is also a reminder to enjoy the time we have NOW...
