With each country we've visited, DS#1 and I have been reading about a missionary to that particular place. DS#2 and DD have joined us somewhat in that endeavor, but primarily it has been the two of us. For Italy, our missionary will be Paul. I found this fun game that helps the children learn about Paul's missionary journeys, which you can, of course, read about in the Bible. I chose three cities where Paul directed some of his letters, so the kids would be familiar with the people (or at least their collective names) with whom he was communicating. The X-perience cards have some of the things Paul and his missionary friends would have encountered in their journeys, such as being put in prison or healing a crippled man. The Witnessing cards contain some memory verses (fill in the blank) or questions about how you might share the Gospel in today's world. You can find directions for making this game yourself by visiting Danielle's Place of Crafts and Activities. The whole family got in on the action of creating this game- Mike drew the map, the kids painted, and I printed all the computer graphics. We had a lot of fun playing this tonight!
