Morocco

We started our journey to Morocco by reading The Butter Man by Elizabeth and Ali Alalou. This is a great story about famine in Morocco. It tells us something about the culture and scenery one might encounter.
We followed that with a Jeff Corwin video about Morocco's Mysterious Desert Ecosystem. This video was loaded with scenery and animals (a huge plus for DS#1)...

Of course, we travelled to EPCOT and visited the Morocco Pavilion there.
We viewed some of the architecture....
saw some of the scenery....

and, naturally, tried some of the local cuisine...
We had lamb wraps, couscous, and baklava...
DS#2 and DD had no desire to try any of it... but DD did try the lamb wrap and LOVED it...
DS#1 loved everything, of course!! I was even brave enough to try the lamb and Baklava and found both of those to be delicious...
We only have one country left in EPCOT- Japan... and we'll get to ther in January! I'm so proud of us for setting the goal to learn about all 11 countries there, and reaching it!!
