We took a tour of Ford's Rouge River Factory and saw them adding details to some Ford F-150s... We also saw a film that told us about the history of Henry Ford and his factories...
After that, we completed Knowledge Box Central's Lapbook called Automobiles and Dad helped us take apart an old lawn mower engine so we could see what pistons and cylinders actually were--
After we had that down (fairly well), he showed us the real thing in our car engine (but he didn't let us take that one apart)!
